Math OR Reading: $190

Math AND Reading: $320

Registration Fee: $60/student

There are no long-term contracts, only month to month.

FAQs

At what age can my student start attending?
  • We work with students aged four and up who are able to focus for 10-15 minutes.
How many times a week will my student come to the center and for how long is each visit?
  • Most students attend twice a week for center visits and complete Gideon assignments at home the other days. However, you can come once a week or request extra classes for an additional fee.
  • Each center visit is typically 30 minutes per subject to do individual daily assignments, complete any old corrections, and review new material. A Gideon instructor will be at the table with the students to assist as needed. Most students will be seated with a 3:1 student to teacher ratio.
What level of work will my student be doing?
  • During the free placement evaluation, we will find a ‘just right’ point in the Gideon curriculum based on what skills your student shows as mastered in order to fill any holes and gaps in his foundation.   • Our goal is to build confidence through mastery with progress right from the start to encourage focus and concentration.
Does Gideon work with students with learning differences such as dyslexia?
  • Yes, the Gideon program works well for most students, including those with learning differences. While school must continue on its schedule, we have the luxury of time to allow the student to set the pace and do any extra practice needed to truly master each level. If your student has dyslexia, read THIS to find out why Gideon is a good solution.
Does Gideon work with students with special needs such as autism?
  • Yes, the Gideon program works with many special needs students. We can evaluate further if Gideon is a good fit when we meet your student during the free placement evaluation.

We are thankful for Gideon Math & Reading in Colleyville. Our introverted child had a very difficult time adjusting to school, following 2 years at home during the pandemic. The Gideon approach has helped him learn to show what he knows, through their paper & pencil approach. Writing out the answers has also helped him to retain information. This approach sets Gideon apart from the other learning center we previously tried. Ms. Jigna & her team have patiently encouraged our child to master the foundational skills needed for early elementary. We appreciate you!

We are so happy that we chose Gideon for our son. He needed some help with catching up in school and also building his confidence in both math and reading. Since he’s been here he has not only gotten the confidence but has surpassed expectations and absolutely enjoys going to Gideon for tutoring which for parents, a child happy to go and continue to learn after a long day as school says A LOT about the amazing tutors in Gideon. They are also very flexible to make sure they can work with a hectic schedule which is another plus for our busy family too. I’m someone who does a TON of research before committing to a place especially when it comes to my children, I really liked that they have an evaluation before going forward with the program. It gave us the opportunity to get a in depth overview of what our child needed to focus on and what they will do for our child to achieve his goals. It was a easy decision after all of the information we received to go with Gideon

We’ve been working with Gideon in Colleyville for past 6 months and are very pleased with the results. Our kid has definitely benefited in her reading/writing skills since being associated with this center.All the teachers are well qualified and always work with kid’s individual pace making sure they are never rushed to help with their progress. The owner/main teacher of this center goes out of the way to answer any/all concerns and questions from parents with always the best interest of the kids in mind. You can’t go wrong with this place !

We have been with Gideon over a year and a half and we love the difference it has made in our child. The program and the curriculum is amazing. Most of the work books are timed which I liked which brought in a sense of accountability in my child. I can see my child doing math calculations in his mind in an instance. We also saw his focus improve tremendously. It’s an owner operated facility so the kids get a lot of special attention too. I definitely recommend Gideon.

We have been exceptionally happy with Gideon- my son needed extra math help and fact practice after remote learning, and Jigna and her team have done a wonderful job of motivating and improving his scores. I also appreciate that this removed the need for me to nag him to do it at home- he does much better when outside-accountable and we are both less stressed. Recommend for getting ahead, or getting caught up.

My 11 years old son started Gideon with Ms Jigna when we moved here. He was about 1-1.5 years behind the grade level on Reading when he started. It’s been 1.5 years, then he got the score of “MASTERS grade level” at his 5th grade STAAR test!!! We are more than happy with Ms Jigna and our younger son continues with her while he is in the elementary school.

I start Gideon with my daughter when she is 4 at a different location. Currently for about two month and so I found this location with Jigina and it was awesome. She is very professional , educated and she communicate very well and she also very detail on her reviews which really help my child to pay attention to detail. Gideon -Colleyville is great! The owner, Jigna, customizes each child’s learning journey. She is a joy to work and is very patient and professional with my seven year old twins. The program has strengthened their math skills during the summer. Additionally, Gideon practices social distancing and mask for every person that enters the learning center, during these unprecedented times of Covid-19.We will return next summer 2021, too.

Jigna has experience in IT project management and knows the importance of building solid math and reading foundations. She has taken her passion for education and poured it into her learning center in Colleyville.
